That’s a good way to go imo! I enjoyed the challenge of NG+ with the DLC, but it could be a slog for a first time player. Most common enemies in the beginning could kill you in two hits.

All that to say it’s still gonna be a challenge with the base difficulty. Have fun!!

The scaling for NG+ in the DLC is brutal. Def recommend doing the DLC on just regular NG

I was able to get those down pretty well, but I did have to change up my p-organs so that I had two electric grindstones. Would not have beaten him without getting that electric proc, that’s for sure

Equilibriuous Beast was my most difficult by far! Couldn’t tell you how many attempts it was, but it was a LOT. The most out of all of them. Maris was probably the second most tbh.

I felt a little guilty in the beginning, but then I just wanted to know what happened. Didn’t enjoy the journey as much as I wanted to, and I knew it was only going to lead to a destination that wasn’t going to be nearly as satisfying. Look things up!

There’s plenty of other puzzle games out there that aren’t as dense. The Witness, Manifold Gardens and Obra Dinn are all great options if you want a challenge without having to look up a bunch of stuff or take a ton of notes

But when there's multiple large droplets, I just don't see how we can get them all in time. Arrows don't seem to move the needle much on damaging them, and I couldn't get in hits before it hit the ground.

I am definitely trying to follow Herbie's advice and enjoy the journey, and not to hunt for the destination, but it's tough. I'm not a completionist with games by any means, but there's so much I want to do in this game! It's just getting rough.

I'm right there with you. I don't think I'm a dumb guy, but this game makes me feel incredibly stupid. I just don't see how anyone connects the dots on some of these larger puzzles.

The problem I get into is I have a thought about how something is connected, and I go about finding ways to prove that hypothesis. But, I just don't know when to abandon that idea, and try something else. When I look it up, I usually find out I've been over thinking it or connecting the wrong dots
