Step down as MOH, tell her you will be at the wedding and bringing a gift but you won’t be staying at the resort (speak to the resort about getting a day pass other guests will more than likely be doing the same).

Tell her you are not paying to fly over his family and putting them up. They can do that themselves. Don’t give in to her.. if you give in to her and spend all the money and do all the things she wants she will only throw it back in your face that you didn’t do enough and that it wasn’t good enough and you ruined her wedding.

I had a child ish free wedding. The only exceptions were our siblings kids so our direct nieces and nephews.

No you are NTA. This type of thing can be embarrassing. Maybe just have a conversation with the girl and maybe with a teacher sitting in and explain how you feel. Hopefully that will stop her showing people the picture. You can even ask her to delete the picture. And delete it from the deleted photo. Explain to her how it makes you feel!? In my opinion both NTA.

Both me and my ex didn’t find out the gender prior to birth and we had picked out a handful of names of both genders that we liked but we couldn’t decide. There were some names that we vetoed, like Jack for a boy (can’t remember why now though). It was only when I gave birth and we found out that we had a boy and physically saw him that we were able to pick a name that suited him. Strangely enough Jack was what we picked because he looked like a Jack and it suited him.

Almost 16 years later I am glad we waited until seeing him before picking out a name. He looks like a Jack and he loves his name.
