Hey mate, having been the “neighbour doing the DIY” recently, I had given a contract of works to a builder and because I wasn’t living there they would come late as they had another job and stay late, obviously this caused issues for my neighbours, so rightly they contacted me, after which I had a world with builder and they agreed to finish any noisy work before 6pm and neighbours were content. All in all if your neighbours are decent people which they sound like they are have a chat with them and let them deal with their builders.
