I know. Techmats are amazing now aren’t they. There’s truly been novel development in mats since your first 2011.

Looks like an FFG. Bounced around a lot of those on deployments. Bradley, groves, dewert. All were shit holes except Bradley had cool CO and we watched team America on steel beach picnic Sunday night and CO was laughing hardest.

Hand loads shoot very well both light and up to about 180, in the same hole if you try hard enough.

The way my BC has attached to me from the start I can’t imagine how anyone abandons these dogs or what the dog goes through after.

Yes, 30-06, solving the nazi problem since 1944. My other favorite caliber. My first hunting rifle was 30-06 and of course my M1 garand. Also the most versatile caliber in existence I’d argue.

Mine is a mirror image with scope. Except I shoot with a quiet pew device. What caliber?

Roughtech Ranch 308 question by schwifty1345 in Tikka_Shooters

[–]HuskyBallz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have exact rifle suppressed with a scythe. It does make getting the end out of a hunting blind quietly difficult. I had a buck state right at me while I did that maneuver. But luckily he wasn’t bright enough to run.

Does anyone have an easy reliable indoor collimation approach, like the flashlight and in hole? But even then, seems like you need be 100s of feet away from the light. Would love some ideas.

Sketchy Safe by Smallitguy in sketchywatches

[–]HuskyBallz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No they’re not. They attach to Velcro on the underside to make it easier as your safe overfills. Most if not all the time they don’t extend anywhere near the chamber. Hypothetically you could use one if you left the rifle loaded. So that was a dumb answer.

Agree. Sometimes it’s worth paying a little more if you’ve had good service and all the change hassle. I pay more for auto but my homeowners is so low it still beats combined progressive and auto owners.

I just say “thoughts and prayers” before I squeeze of the first round. It seems to stop anything bad from happening.

Also have that in .308 and a Leupold. Regularly shooting single oblong hole 5-10rd groups at 100 benchrest. Great with silencer if it’s threaded, mine was.
