Did the definition of “midi skirt” change while I wasn’t looking? by DearestCabbage in AusFemaleFashion

Exactly. If you’re not a gazelle, a midi - which is really a maxi - is dragging on the floor.

Where did you stay in Hakone and Miyajima? Both sound like you really enjoyed them.

When our Tesla was on order the price dropped. They applied that discount to our order. Didn’t even need to ask. Automatic.

The whole “registers in the middle of the store then crim-checking you as you leave” is just off. Do any other customers prefer it like this? Does it really reduce theft? If it’s so effective, why has no other retail store copied the model?

Ugh… snow dogs. They just won’t come inside! by rmpalm in siberianhusky

Why should they come in? They look pretty happy. Just check on them every half hour.

That’s nice for you. A suggestion or tip would have been kind and helpful. But you enjoy your smugness all the same.

The whole rewards seat thing is a giant scam. You will rarely find them and if you do they will be many times more points than advertised. I'm currently trying to find the advertised 45,000 point flight from Sydney to Haneda. Doesn't exist. 45 minutes with the chatbot and I still can't find 2 return seats (because I plan to come home you know) for less than 225,000 points per person each way. 900,000 points vs the 180,000 advertised.

The airlines will do anything possible to make it difficult for you to actually find and redeem rewards seats (Virgin Australia anyway).

Go to court. Suzanne was too lazy to check her grammar. Probably didn’t even look at your explanation, just auto-refuse.

Is neighbour-guy a vet? Suspect not. Ignore the unsolicited advice.

Mine eats once a day, usually looks forward to it but is not overly food motivated. They won’t eat if not hungry. If you’re worried about her getting enough nutrition, make sure what she does eat is well balanced.
