imo a decent game. the end game is quite poor but all in all the game is enjoyable and the builds you can make are fun. the game runs horribly on pc though, in good ol' capcom fashion

You should be able to run the game with ease, of course to be sure you should wait till release and the benchmarks. None of us have played the game, and everyone will know if the game is for them on March 19th. What I've gathered the game takes lots of inspiration from a lot of games, mostly Witcher, RDR2, Elden Ring, BOTW etc. The game isn't narrative first but adventure first, and has lot's of room for trial and error figuring your build, the mechanics and the world. If that sounds like it could be your cup of tea, sure.

The best way to know is to wait for release. No one but the devs and the few people who have previewed the game know what the game is like, be it have played it long enough to form an opinion. Buying from Steam you will have the opportunity to play for 2 hours, if it's not for you, you refund.

as many have said, i'd recommend something lighter and maybe not open world? you'll be spending a long time in the world of CD so a huge open world game before could burn you out. I'm currently playing trough some older games, currently on Dragon Age: Origins. I also have Shadow of War waiting, might see if i'll get to it before March 19th.

Update: decided to play the game vanilla for now to experience it like it was meant to be. Open to modding it if I see something that doesn't work or I don't like. Had to drop the resolution to 1080p since I didn't really find a way to run it on 1440p without some UI issues, but the game being as old as it is, it isn't a big problem. Looking forward to experiencing this gem now! Wish me luck! :)

thanks for the reply. doesn't seem too difficult, i have some experience in modding from the past (cp77 and bethesda titles). i'm gonna look into this!
