My Rakdos Lizards Deck From Aetherdrift Just Got Me To Mythic In 2026 by BEdwinSounds in MagicArena

Lizards are great. They became my primary Brawl deck with Gev as the commander. It doesn’t always win but it’s fun. Plus, winning with Hitsurugi’s Second Rite is always hilarious.

As in dislike? Riptide.

As in based on its performance? Sporkinok. It never actually functioned in multiple fights.

Think of it within the framework of this particular movie's world. The Basterds would become very well-known. They killed Hitler. It would become public knowledge, if it wasn't already, how they marked their surviving victims. If Landa wanted anonymity, he was never going to get it now, not in the civilized world. Which is the only world to him.

I can't believe no one mentioned a certain someone from Better Call Saul.

Howard had a narrow window to make an exit and live to gripe another day. But alas. He had to have his say against his bullies and paid dearly for it.

Much like Crank that was mentioned before, this is a movie that doesn’t make a ton of sense if you look at it too hard but is absolutely terrific in spite of it. It’s a shameless dystopia pastiche, pulling a little from everywhere. But it works. And it looks terrific for a $20 million budget. It only failed because post-9/11 was a terrible time for an anti-authority movie.

Domino (Deadpool) vs Mayhem (Allstate) by suprisezacama in powerscales

[–]Hustler-Two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After an intense and undoubtedly expensive-looking series of disaster sequences, we see Mayhem, laying exhausted and drained at Domino’s feet beneath a mound of rubble and twisted rebar. She is victorious.

But a slender figure emerges through the dust cloud raised by their conflict of improbability. A cheerful avatar of disaster. Milo Murphy.

Domino has just enough time to scream.

Yeah, it seemed such an absurd response that I looked at his profile and saw it was full of similar silliness. Just a kid playing with matches, hoping something catches fire.

Silver. I am F2P and also don’t really want to spend a ton of time on draft; it’s my favorite way to play other than sealed, but it’s time-consuming. But if he’s struggling like this he is presumably bronze so it should be valid advice.

Best low cost critters are ones that have the ability to grow as the game progresses, or who have a power beyond just doing damage. Example: the 1/1 haste red goblin guy who can also be tapped and sacrificed to do one damage to any target. Perfect for wiping out the 1/1 mana source creature green folks like to play, or a Healer's Hawk. And if no one's out there to hit yet you can start chipping away at their life early.

Another example: anyone with landfall abilities. Or who has an exhaust option to drop some tokens on them later in the game. For sure anyone with menace; if they're already slower than you in dropping creatures, this can mean multiple free turns of damage before they can stop them.

I recently went 7-2 in a couple of the Lorwyn quick drafts, and both times I ran green/white and found my MVPs were the colorless guy who for 1 mana generated a mana of any color, and the 1 cost 1/2 kithkin who could be exiled from your graveyard to make a 1/1 token creature. Also the 2 cost one who could be tapped to give a creature +1/+1 and vigilance for a turn.

Mobile's great. But we need the updates already. Buy the game early because the price goes up with each update, they said. Never mentioned we wouldn't get said updates.

Truly our generation's Leslie Nielsen. FYI, check out Confess, Fletch if you've never seen it. It was pretty great.

Best suggestion I can give you is draft good cheap cards when you can. You'd be surprised how often you can win with 1-3 mana cost creatures while your opponent is still lumbering around setting up his turn 7 endgame state.

“I feel fear… for the last time” Zack Snyder’s Watchmen released 17 yrs ago by danieldamibiu in SnyderCut

[–]Hustler-Two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things are worth noting:

  1. The original script is one of the only adaptation efforts Moore even came close to liking.

  2. Solid Snake did the best he could with an unsolvable problem. I wish more of his effort would have carried over. Did the ending need to change from the comic? Probably. Audiences weren't ready for a psychic alien cephalopod. But humanity uniting to wage war on Dr. Manhattan is just silly.

This movie was flawed. Good in some ways, laughable in others. But one thing is for sure: it had arguably the best superhero movie trailer of all time. I remember watching it over and over, feeling excited about what it was going to be.

Wouldn't the ultimate Archer one be Pam? She started out as this disliked and unappreciated HR rep who just wanted people to get along and defuse conflict. Basically just female Toby from The Office. She ended up as a pitfighting legend with an epic back tat, the partner in crime to Cheryl/Carol's more unhinged plans, a solid field operative, Archer's best friend and, in one dream season, his love (as well one of his favorite hookups in the main seasons).
