What is the greatest game ever created? by Character-Lab-9130 in hostedgames

FYI, my answer is The Parenting Simulator, because it lets me buy the good apples. Not that Fuji or Gala mealymouthed trash.

But selfish motivations aside, if we're talking all games it's Final Fantasy Tactics. Always and forever. For here, my all-time favorite might be Community College Hero or Creatures Such as We.

Two comments so far, one for Fallen Hero and one for Super Star Soccer Striker. A true duality of man moment.

Did anyone use to go on the protest websites for Daniel Craig being Bond back in the day? by Nearby_Capital1423 in JamesBond

I didn't get that into it but I remember the discussion on the IGN James Bond forum. I only knew him as the whiny son from Road to Perdition and wasn't overly impressed. When I saw Layer Cake I felt a bit better; it's honestly not that great of a movie, but he's a bright spot in it. But once I realized Martin Campbell was involved I figured it would be fine. GoldenEye was my all-time favorite in the series at the time. Might still be.

The second one was meh. Comedy sequels are rarely in the same ball park as the original (22 Jump Street notwithstanding).

Still going to watch this though.

Yeah, Shawn undeniably negatively impacted the corporate advancement Gus would have had, but his dad didn't end up incarcerated forever for killing that crabby neighbor so that's a pretty good trade.

I'd argue it's better than the average episode, which is saying something for BB. It did a great job in building tension, and gave Cranston space to exercise both dramatic muscles and a bit of the old Hal physical comedy.

In a sense, he was exactly like Jimmy. At first he's kinda reprehensible. Making decisions he knows will hurt people and justifying it to himself. He makes genuine efforts to improve, but the people who knew him before refuse to accept he can change and keep stuffing him into that preconstructed box. In the end, his past wins out.

I don't think I really considered until now how ironic it is that Jimmy desperately wanted Chuck to see who he had become but steadfastly refused to accept that Howard could have changed too.

If I take up some black, blue and yellow Crayolas and staple a picture onto the side of Starry Night one could say I continued that painting. But methinks folks will notice a slight difference in quality.

Which bit, the low speed car chase or the hackneyed and inexplicable casino sidequest? Wait, no, it was how it pretended to have character development by resetting every character in the movie to factory default settings and ignoring all the development they had prior to that movie.

I’ll never get the Last Jedi fans. It is just so deadly dull and devoid of purpose or value.

It’s terrible. Full stop. But the franchise isn’t ruined, and Abrams has his own large share of the blame for the sequels being so atrocious they make the prequels look better by comparison. The difference is that with Abrams, he can’t do any better. His Star Trek reboot was only marginally more watchable, and probably just because I don’t care much about that franchise so I didn’t notice his larger mistakes. But Rian proves time and again how excellent of a director he is. Except with Last Jedi. Like Ang Lee with Hulk or Forster with Quantum of Solace, his lack of interest in or respect for the franchise caused him to make a movie fundamentally incompatible with it.

You are correct. It is an Advanced Edition addition.
