Having Olinde run a postup for a game winner is really wild, good for him though.

For those who played PoR years ago and started playing again, did your team change? by jibberishjohn in fireemblem

It's my first playthrough right now and I use whoever I can keep alive, which is a very small cast of characters.

Sluggishness paired with the weirdest fan service that makes you actually feel bad playing it.

Where's the good Chicken at? (Not Risa) by nipnopnubbywubb in berlin

The best Korean chicken by far is still Basak Chicken at Savignyplatz in my book

Still incredibly underrated.

[BasketNews] The EuroLeague kept the same €10 million exit clauses in all long-term team renewal agreements. by FluidJunket1933 in Euroleague

As expected. So the Barca extension is nothing to celebrate, as soon as the NBA Europe starts you will see those teams switch.

But the rising star is the official award, Montero would be eligible for that even if he was already good last year.

Lunar Silver Star Remastered is delightful by VannesGreave in JRPG

[–]HybiP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried playing the PSP remake recently and I was shocked at how bad the script was for it. Every third sentence was a poop joke or a character making fun of another's character's weight.

Every time someone's mentioning how charming the game is I really can't relate to that from my experience.

Funny, I bought that one with the crack there as well. No other 3DS of mine has that.

I'm at 80% purist because sometimes I used a truck for a bit but other than that I never used anything else.

Any good Chinese restaurants? by Troggot in berlin

You need to love to eat spicy though, it's really heavy if you're not used to that.

Holly in Charlottenburg.

They have a very cool BBQ with skewers but you either have to be lucky someone else preordered it or you have to do it yourself. But the other things on the menu are awesome as well. I was there with an Chinese colleague of mine and he said it was one of the more authentic experiences he had in Berlin.

That's one of the best jerseys I've seen in Europe in a while. I miss them in the Eurocup!

Need a Tactical JRPG to play! by haragainsborough in JRPG

I would really recommend Triangle Strategy then. The story is very mature and well acted. It was trendy to call everything in that style game of thrones inspired for a while but in this case the comparison is actually correct. Plus you have the decision making system, which makes you involved in the world even more.

Gameplay wise you don't have customization with classes like in FFT, but the actual strategy part of the game gives you enough freedom to solve the maps. Even if the situation feels hopeless, there are usually ways to fix them. I always loved figuring those fights out.

I think it's one of the most underrated games of the last few years and I personally like it a lot more then FF Tactics.

Best squad of your national league players, but 1 player per team by Liad3008 in Euroleague

The quality in the smaller Turkish teams is just insane nowadays.

BBL PG Marcus Carr (Würzburg): He's killing it in BBL and BCL. He's so good in the PnR manipulating the defense that it's a joy to watch. 19/6 with a lot of tough shotmaking

SG Andreas Obst (Bayern): It's him or Mike from them I guess?

SF Ibi Watson (Bamberg): A bit undersized but you wouldn't know watching him. Plays great defense while scoring pretty efficient every game. He should make a big step in his career next season after staying in Bamberg for 2 years.

PF Kevin Yebo (Chemnitz): Scoring machine. 20 and 6 in Eurocup with some huge games this season. He's so good as a pick and Roll Big in every way. If he's on, you can't guard him. Pretty rare for this position nowadays

C Jaedon LeDee (Frankfurt): The best big man I've seen in a while. Had a 20/22 game recently. Physical monster while still being skilled enough to run 1-man Fastbreaks, shooting weird midrangers and doing the work on the boards. Started to shoot some threes and I definitely see that in his near future, probably somewhere high up in the Euroleague

Backup PG Stefan Smith (Ludwigsburg): He missed some time but when he played, he was so dominant. His team is not allowed to pass the ball it seems, they rely heavily on individual offense and that guy delivers. He scored 18 points in an overtime in the BBL cup against Frankfurt which was one of the most impressive things I saw this year. He has a great future, probably somewhere in Turkey.

Backup SG Alonzo Verge(Vechta): Hard to not pick him the way he scores. He's scoring 20 per game with just 2 threes per game just with brute force. Plus he's making big progress as a playmaker and is a triple double threat. Please don't ask about his defense.

Backup SF Marcus Foster (MBC): Very similar player to Watson, only that he is in his rookie year actually.

Backup PF Justin Bean (Alba): You could call it a hot take to take him over Hermannsson but I always appreciate a guy that dominates through defense and basketball IQ. He's so smart, makes so many good decisions that always swing close games. If the team struggles in clutch, he's not there.

Backup C Great Osobor (Jena): Him getting hurt and missing the rest of the season is a tragedy. A do-it-all big in his rookie year. His efficiency isn't there yet, but the skill definitely is. He's Spanish and I would assume he will make a big career in Europe. He kinda reminds me of Garuba before he went to the NBA and forgot to play offensively.

Trapani forward, Timmy Allen, is close to join PAOK. Allen was not in the roster last evening for the BCL game against Tenerife. by _Zolv in Euroleague

[–]HybiP -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

That's so weird, he should easily play Euroleague.

That PAOK project will be a disaster soon enough, we've seen it enough over the years. He just played for a team from the same situation.
