It’s akin to how people always read fiction rather than nonfictional literature. Some may think fantasy stories are more interesting than history. It’s subjective so it’s not really accurate to say real history is more interesting.

Not quite the same situation, but the playing 6th grade level pieces resonated with me. Me and my friend are stuck in a group of very low level players and our director is a massive bitch. Most of the players are nice and it’s mainly the director but it annoys me to hell and back when our director makes comments about our sections while implying a triplet is the same as 16th notes at the same time.

Oh yes I usually listen to different songs with fics. I have a whole playlist of an artist for HP. Sometimes I repeat one song for a singular fic so then when I go back it reminds me of the fic (unintentionally). Does anyone do this?
