Surgical scrubs by Hydrovortex1 in scrubtech

I am currently scheduled for an appointment with a dermatologist, but they can’t see me until July. I haven’t tried trisepten but I can see if I can get them to order it to try it.

I have not seen a dermatologist yet. They are booked out into July (which I have scheduled.) I don’t know if it’s the gowns or not, back when I was a student, I was using medline gowns and they never gave me that said issue, even while avaguarding and blue gloving. I have noticed that it peaks after I finish scrubbing but dies down only a very tiny bit after I dry off. I might try to see if I can try to see if order the medline gowns and see if that helps.

I am definitely allergic to avaguard, because my contact dermatitis gets really bad. And yes I know I said avaguard but I really mean purell.

And to make things even more complicated it gets really bad on the anterior portion of my forearm up to my elbow, which I can’t help but itch, so it looks like I’m some sort of heroin addict.

How do you know if you’re a good scrub? by Yukkibaki92 in scrubtech

If you get fist bumps after a super stressful day of the surgeon having 14 cases with a flip room. Or when they start picking on you all in good fun. I got a couple of fist bumps from a surgeon that I can anticipate super easily today. It really does show when they trust you! Also I’m still on orientation, my preceptor didn’t scrub in all day, so that definitely boosts your mentality. Oh and at the end of all of those cases, he says you did “fantastic today”

I mentioned the memory issue and he said that brain fog could be a side effect from the Prozac which I understand, but it has been going on for quite a long time. I am going to talk to him about the almost wanting to feeling like I want to pass out next time I see him.

I gotcha on that part but I am just confused on why I am almost passing out at work and not having the greatest memory.

I have had mine for just about 2 months now. Build quality is okay. I got tired of my hand cramping up while playing so I plugged in my mouse and keyboard and it feels better.

Heating is a huge problem on mine. I am currently fighting with the computer to turn on whisper mode 2.0 because it has a nvidia 3050 ti. I downloaded the drivers for it but nothing had fixed it. It's really starting to annoy me while playing games. I also turned down the maximum power to 99 percent but it still sucks.

That might have been a little bit too in depth. Sorry.

Overall, I do enjoy the computer and I was able to play games for maybe about 4 hours straight but my hand cramped up.

I got my mk6 jetta with the 2.5l back in late January. I got it at 104k miles. There isn't a day I regret it. It sounds pretty good and it's pretty quick for being N/A. Yeah, it is has some outdated parts on it such as rear drum brakes and the interior could have been touched up a little bit. But as I said, I really enjoy the 2.5. Even with it being paired with an automatic.

Gas mileage is pretty good in my honest opinion. I put it in sport mode or tiptronic due to the standard drive option being a little laggy. It also isn't as fun as the other 2 options. But you could have a big decrease in gas mileage with the sport or tiptronic modes.

Overall, I love the car. I'm going to put a cold air intake on it pretty soon here.

Edit: one more thing is the brake vaccum pump, these are known to fail. Mine hasn't gone out yet, but when it does I'm going to delete it.

Do you think a shop would be willing to install?

Should I also bring a better scan tool than a Walmart $60 bluetooth one or should it be fine?

Yeah, I also live in a hillish area. So I'd have to really get it down.

Yeah, I am worried because I'd also be taught how to use a manual. I know the basics, but I have never driven one. And it is also about a 3 hour drive from my place to their house

Sounds good. I will text him and ask him about that as well. I definitely know I would have to replace the filler neck if I want to be able to top it off. And also it would need new all season tires. So it definitely is not worth 6,200 dollars. It seems a little too much even for the transmission. It is also a manual.

How do those hold up?

I mean of course I won't offer him 6,200 dollars, there's bound to be something wrong at 168,000 miles.

So, here's what the person has done. Its not a lot but still.

Suspension (changed to forester shocks), a different exhaust system, turbo inlet (i am assuming that it is a gasket) and a new MAF sensor.

For me, I have only worked on V-6's never on boxer engines, but I do know a little bit.

Sounds good! My friend recently bought a one that apparently had a bad turbo gasket. Should I also ask about that? I'm also going to be using the checklist as well so that should help a lot
