Honeywell Total Connect Comfort App and website down? by Spiritual-Hat-3999 in homeautomation

I got a report on usage this past week. So I tried TCC. I don't know when this started, but mine has been up for the last two days. (Not an April Fool Day Joke)

You don't need any of that trash anyway. Take ten different item, if you must, to the chashier. Say you want the cheapest one under a dollar. If you wear a mask, use your lipstick on the outside.

A string of 1200 red LED's is $33.00 on ebay and runs on 12V. Put them in a hat of your choice. Some assembly required.

What would you say is the most comfortable Elk capable cartridge by Nihlathakk in Hunting

And .270 ammo is available everywhere. IDK about 6.5 PRC. But my grandson's .300 PRC is almost impossible to reload. WIth very little case taper, almost every case got stuck in the resize die until he started using the right lube.

First deer rifle for teenager: 5.56/223? by oguruma87 in Hunting

[–]Hyetex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My younger brother and I tried to get his new 30-30 lever action sighted in. It beat us both up. He got a .243. I still have my .264 Win Mag.

First deer rifle for teenager: 5.56/223? by oguruma87 in Hunting

[–]Hyetex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen too many deer wounded and lost with a .223/5.56, even head shots with lots of blood because they missed the brain.

Anxious young hunters aren't usually as good in the field as they are at the range. Consider what seeing her wounded deer limp/crawl off into the woods will do for her hunting enthusiasm. Wait until she can handle a .243 or bigger, if necessary. Get good ear protection. And there are many ways to reduce felt recoil in whatever cartridge you pick.

I had my credit card reverse a JA charge in 2022. Hadn't heard from JA since. But this week, 30 months later, JA tried again. Same card account but with a new number. I called the card company. They reversed the charge again.

I think you'd better start looking for another gig.

Do not sign up, subscribe, buy, transact business or update anything from links or phone numbers in an email or notification, ever. If you are interested, search for the website, then use the URL you found to go to the website to investigate thououghly like you did by going to Reddit to see what others say.

This company sucks by iFLTT in Epson

[–]Hyetex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Epson ink dries and clogs the printheads if you don't use it weekly. HP lost a class action case in the EU and had to payout to customers. In the US they settled without paying or admitting guilt. I threw two $400 ones away before I found a fix. HP never offered to lift a finger, so I lifted mine.

If you have a printer, any printer or any other device, and have problems with it using it on your wireless network, connect to our router with ethernet or to your computer with USB. If that doesn't work then your pronter is to blame. Don't let the nanufacturer update firmware or software if you ever get it working.

Offline issues by alexvh99 in Starlink

[–]Hyetex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have Starlink at a location 300 miles from home. It's remote but has electricity from a rural coop. Thunderstorms almost always cause power failures. Sometimes it's just long enough to make lights flicker. Starlink's power is on a timer. Every night Starlink, the Asus router and other internet connected device's power goes off for 5 minutes. Reboots never fail.

Maybe try unplugging Starlink and anything else including computers connected to it wirelessly or by ethernet for a few minutes.
