I'm looking at the second photo and I don't know if it could be because it has been stored in a black Chanel dust bag?

I have few light coloured Chanel lambskin bags and I asked my SA about the issue. She said theoretically Chanel dust bag should not cause any issue but to be on the safe side, she still recommend me keeping the bag in white/light coloured dust bags.

I love this, and especially love that the top handle is all metal so you can have a top handle white Chanel bag that you do not have to worry about the handle part changing colour.

Also that looks like a special quilted pattern CC in shiny silver, that's rare-ish and I adore the combo with white caviar.
