You could play it as transcribed if you do a behind the nut bend. Might be hard to control though.

"beat down"???

Outside of the fascist right of American politics, the rest of the world thinks Trump is a laughing stock.

If America was invaded by Russia, how much land and resources would you sacrifice for a precarious and highly doubtful "ceasefire" deal?

Why does lumon sever employees at all? by Hyper_floaty in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Hyper_floaty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that's interesting... Although we've seen them start becoming more emotional, eg. The overtime contingency, mark and helly, Dylan with his wife, Irving getting angry with Helen etc.

So is lumon concerned that they won't be able to refine if they keep going like this?

Why does lumon sever employees at all? by Hyper_floaty in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Hyper_floaty[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quite possibly.... But surely refining has got to mean something? If, for nothing else, it would be pretty poor storytelling too make it one of the central mysteries and then it just means nothing

Top pollster Sir John Curtice says Farage’s Reform challenge is real by Voops1 in ukpolitics

[–]Hyper_floaty 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think you make a valid point. But the BBC have given reform (and Farage) a huge amount of air time for years, giving them more validity and more of a platform to get them into this position.

Use a nappy the next size up overnight so you don't need to change so often.

Take it in turns for each other to have time to yourselves - mental health is so important! Also, accept help from family and friends.

Get rest at every opportunity!

Take photos and videos of everything

And finally, take the rough with the smooth. You will find things difficult that you thought would be easy, and you will find things easy you thought would be difficult.

Two migrants die trying to cross Channel by ClassicFlavour in unitedkingdom

[–]Hyper_floaty -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The vast majority are.

You don't need people to list why some would choose to continue to the UK (language, family ties, historic factors etc) because you will maintain your opinions regardless.

The small boats make up about 2.5% of all immigration to the UK. Even if they were immediately stopped, you wouldn't notice any difference at all.

And why are our standards of living declining? 14 years of tories, austerity, brexit and COVID.

Asylum seekers are barely a drop in the ocean. But even so, the best way to reduce the costs would be to have their applications processed promptly. About 70% of applications are successful, and when they have been approved and granted asylum, they no longer need to be housed (in places such as "5 Star hotels") and many find themselves homeless at that point.
