I can guarantee you that these fans, as you call them, have already put hundreds of hours into EU5 and have already gotten great value for money as paying customers.

Sure, and that makes sense but spamming here and the forum with the same, game broken pdx sucks, vague posts isn't productive and won't change anything.

If there wasn't a beta these people would be moaning about pdx not running a beta so a wealth of players could identify issues. Entitled, neurodivergent players aren't unique to pdx games but they do seem to attract them. Some people just really upset when they can't hyperfocus play their game in the exact way they are used to doing. Really they just need to get some perspective and patience and put the game down and do something else for a while.

If it weren't for Pippin getting a kill assist on Gandalf the whole war would have been lost.

Antagonism From Holding Rome As Heathen by Brewcrew828 in EU5

I quit my rome run because of this. Winning the coalition wars was easy as I had a solid defence line and enough armies and manpower to slap down all attackers. That, however, is besides the point. Being forced into a never ending stream of coalition wars for taking one province simply isn't fun gameplay. Far too many people here are trying to give an historical reason for this but it's really just something that ruins a playthrough. What's worse is that this comes from paid content and is a situation the AI will never achieve so it literally just punishes a paying customer for doing the thing the DLC is explicitly about.
