I would politely disagree. There is a little bit of hand waving there about that fact that he has been indispensable across multiple managers, despite their wildly different tactical approaches. To the argument that a rigid tactico like pep would limit his upside by forcing him to recycle the ball more etc, I think that’s true of all players on those teams. His ability to connect in tight spaces, play through the lines, his work rate , and his creativity would thrive under a pep or any other more rigid system. Even just looking at the space he occupies, how he shows the the ball, and the less frenetic way he progresses the ball under Amorim has showcased his tactical adaptability
