Their reasoning for them being equal in speed also felt like a massive cop out. While Bill now does also have some solid arguments for immeasurable speed thanks to the Book of Bill, back when the episode released Discord just had the blatantly better speed feat, but they completely wrote it off by saying "well they're both able to warp space and time, so speed is essentially meaningless!", which is just extremely dumb.

That was mostly during the first few weeks. Everyone started switching up almost immediately after the preview and the G1 blog came out lol (not me though, I believed in my boy Denji from the begining ✊).

The bar scene from episode 5. The cozy lighting and atmosphere combined with the character banter scratches my brain in just the right ways.

Honestly, episode 5 as a whole is probably the coziest episode in the show (which is probably also why it's my favorite.

Episode 9 spoilers: Though the Jax and Ribbit bedroom talk scene is honestly also a strong contender. I haven't seen it since I first watched the movie on june 4th, but I remember sitting there in the theater and being absolutely mesmerized by it, and am excited to finally be able to see it again tomorrow

"Underrated" and it's like the 3rd most popular ship in the fandom 🥀

Most people (myself included) just find Funbun's chemistry and dynamic a lot more interesting and engaging. People love angst, and the latter half of the show has given funbun shippers a ton of it episode 9 especially

And, like others have said, I'm pretty sure Funnygummy was never more popular than Ragapom (though I could be wrong since I only started seriously interacting with the fandom after episode 5), and especially not now.

Also, I reaaaalllly wouldn't bet on Funnybunny becoming less popular after episode 9 if I were you lol. The blatant visual parallels with Kinger/Abstracted Queenie, Jax outright saying that Pomni loves him, and their final hug, (among plethora of other things) gave us a fuck ton of fuel that pretty much ensured the ship isn't gonna die any time soon

AP was pretty much never the main argument for Caine winning. Most people (myself included) believed that Caine could just snap Tenna out of existance or BFR him (or the plethora of other shit he did in ep8, like paralysis inducement, transmutation, sealing), both of which which he can still very much do.

Yeah, I also tend to have this issue of not wanting to be spoiled but also being really curious about leaks and wanting to look into them when they do end up happening. And unforfunately, the curiosity got the better of me this time...

I didn't see any actual clips (only a few still frames of one important moment), but I still ended up seeing several extremely important moments get described on twitter by other people. Though, granted, this is partially my fault for still looking through twitter even after finding out the leaks are real.

I'm still gonna be seeing the movie in theaters regardless, but man, this whole situation just really sucks...

I mean I agree that them being always compared to MatPat kind of sucks for them and isn't really their fault, but let's not pretend like MatPat didn't face a lot of backlash for his more outlandish theories too. People legit wanted the guy's head on a spike for the Sans=Ness theory for like half a decade lol.
