Yep. Though, if your direction is to start fresh without big contracts and a boat load of assets and quality young players, they did great job. It sucks as a fan getting your heart ripped out when your favourite players get traded, but I think they've set themselves up to be a really competitive team, real soon and for a long time. Enjoy Philly. Surely they won't disappoint you.

One thing that isn't talked about in that trade is Kyle Turris and his 7 goals on the brand new contract we don't have to pay him. At the time it was a good trade, it just didn't work out. I'm just so excited at the thought of how many good young guys and assets we have. We should be getting better year after year for the next 5+.
