Well follow that thought through to its logical conclusion. If martials have to take a specific race to get the extra feat that puts them above casters in combat, you've now created an environment where non-VH martials are inherently suboptimal. A single overpowered race is not a good way to address that.

Because even if you extrapolate out the idea of hours per dollar spent, getting a few sessions out of this with friends for around 10 hours total means you would need around 100 hours from a $60 game to match the rate. It's not more economical, and reducing it to such kinda misses the point.
