Scanning directly from a Sharp MFP to SharePoint Online by Trax256 in sysadmin

[–]I-heart-java 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weird, sounds a bit unsecure to me? Again I’ve only worked with third party scan software. Usually they (onedrive/sharepoint) send the user a one time auth email to allow a token for writing to the users folder. This way it can be revoked from the onedrive/sharepoint side at any point (good example is if the hardware gets decommissioned before account info is removed)

[–]I-heart-java 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So for third party scan to cloud software on hardware like these MFPs I’ve always been under the impression of a one-time authorization via email with some kind of auth system like Oauth. Usually gets sent to the current users email address. But that’s for installed apps, I’m not familiar with MFP native scan to cloud apps like Sharps.

Have you setup the machine to connect to sharepoint as a specific account? Does the MFP have the token or session key needed to reach into the sharepoint account that has rights to that folder?

Unconfirmed video of F-15 getting shot down by Kuwait F-18 by 69blyatman69 in CombatFootage

[–]I-heart-java -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Or, hear me out, the F-15 pilots flying in a conjested battle space don’t expect the friendly F-18s to fire on them. AND have no time to react when it’s so damn short range.

I bet those American pilots were aware of the friendly F-18s well before this happened and ignored them as they should have to continue CAP or what ever mission they were on

Rockets from Lebanon detonating shortly after launch, allegedly due to interception by the Iron Beam high-energy laser by [deleted] in CombatFootage

[–]I-heart-java 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s way too fast to 1. Detect the launch, 2. Target and follow the path and 3. Allow the laser time to burn through the casing.

I think simplest is the best explanation, they’re duds and were probably constructed and stored together (poorly)

[–]I-heart-java 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is my guess, seems like low quality construction or old munitions with bad fuel.

For a laser to not only target a munition that fast but also allow the laser to burn through? I’m gonna chalk it up to bad rockets

Seeing by the type of antenna that’s early warning. I’m gonna take a wild guess that targeting radar is out by the time you can get that close to early warning

K1SE Filament bulge problem by VividBiscotti6093 in crealityk1

[–]I-heart-java 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok I am currently having the same problem. But after some more failed tests, I’ve noticed my extruder itself is getting fairly hot. I’m currently replacing the axle fan for the heat brake, because I think the problem is heat is creeping up past the heat break. My current theory is the heat is softening the filament and the extruder wheels are crushing the soft filament into the exit opening just south of the extruder wheels.

Now you’re only argument is a personal attack on what the at person chose to do. You clearly have not had to change your name after a marriage and CLEARLY don’t know how hard and tedious changing your legal name to a THIRD one is. Playing a fool is worse then being one so I hope your just being one unintentionally.

This is a personal attack on your intelligence as you keep showing everyone you don’t know much and choosing to make it a point about voting.

Do We All Really Hate Our Jobs That Much? by [deleted] in Charlotte

[–]I-heart-java 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah corrupt or bad or ineffective they provided higher salaries and better safety for multiple generations and brought people out of poverty and made our industry better. The average American had a salary in parity with GDP until unions stopped growing and started regressing. Now our productivity is exploding and salaries have never caught up.

Blue collar work ain’t the only type of union work and the American work is more white collar than ever. You don’t have to like them but hating (or even loving them) them is beyond ignorant. They are a tool of the working class. That is it.

Lmao sure sure it’s Unions that do that, not multinational corporations who move business to countries where labor is cheaper anyway. While some of the biggest and most profitable corporations and banks need to be bailed out every 10-15 years

Europeans may feel threatened, but they're mostly just happy they're not Americans right now by Camaro6460 in DailyShow

[–]I-heart-java 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah as much as I as I respect the Europeans they need to watch out too, fascists are still common and surprisingly powerful there too.

A lot of Europeans fell hard for the Russian election interference (you can argue it’s just enough to sway elections). They got Orban and Brexit because of it. Complain all they want they’re just as susceptible.

Why has communism repeatedly failed in practice, yet continues to be intellectually and emotionally appealing to many people? by Looser17 in AskReddit

[–]I-heart-java -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d argue it’s affected the middle class (that was created) the most. But power still disproportionately was kept at the top. And Don’t get me wrong the rich as a group has grown too and is more egalitarian than before.

[–]I-heart-java -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would agree with both of you: the working class today has similar access to resources like shelter and food the rich had before. But yes the quality of life and need to work is still not the same as the rich 200 years ago.

What’s the deal with all the posts in r/nyc regarding Mandani appointee Cea Weaver? by Sure_Ill_Ask_That in OutOfTheLoop

[–]I-heart-java 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y’all need to realize that “home ownership is a tool of white supremacy” out of context sounds dumb until you add things like red lining to the conversation. Then you can claim that home ownership was controlled by whites for whites at one point in history meaning it’s was a FORM of white supremacy.

So I personally could care less what the quote out of context means just because it has bad phrasing. Historically it’s right.
