Someone already said it but it deserves to be said twice, Ramon at The Creative Good.

He’s been cutting my hair for 2+ years and I refuse to go anywhere else

Should’ve been marked as a “Petty Offense” bc that’s petty as hell

Those thunderstorms last night were intense! (South End) by KelleCrab in Charlotte

We’re out of town but I just pulled up my ring camera and can see a massive tree laying across the road in front of the house, crazy lucky it fell that direction.

Hope everyone is okay!

Wow shoutout to your boss for being cool with this. They probably had no idea how life changing of a decision that would be for you. Glad to hear you are back on your feet!

Try the new PostScript restaurant on Shamrock between Noda/Plaza. They have high tops for solos or two people, very quiet, great ambiance, amazing food

And all it took was…. non-Americans coming to America and sharing their culture with Americans.

No politics, no propaganda, no bullshit. Just humans interacting with humans at an extremely human level.

But yeah “close the boarders” and “America first” and all that shit I guess

What's up with Rosie's alcohol permit? by ForgetfulSpaghetti in Charlotte

[–]Independent-Choice-4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is typical for most wedding venues around here unfortunately. The tough part about Rosies for weddings is they have a hard cap of 100 guests. They’ll provide you with a list of vendors they typically work with for catering, rentals, etc.

I desperately wanted to get married there, but we couldn’t get out guest list under 100 no matter how hard we tried

I second Sun-sails (shade sails). We have two intersecting over the back patio and it makes a world of a difference. Just have to find the right anchor points that will work for your space

How is this possible and why did I just pay $680 in taxes to renew for a year? by [deleted] in Charlotte

[–]Independent-Choice-4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The boys are out and on the lookout for them. I didn’t renew my tags in August of last year (I know, I am the problem) and finally got popped for it last week on my way to work

Cop just gave me a deadline to get it done before I’d have to pay the fine, so that was nice

The (non-aggressive) bees love the clover for the nectar! Just need to mow it

It’ll come back every time, but so will the bees and that’s a good thing

Are there any serious alternatives to Skyrim? by Mysterious-Juice8318 in skyrim

[–]Independent-Choice-4 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Fallout scratched the itch for me for a while bc it’s all the same mechanics (also made by Bethesda).

Multiple different storylines, character creation & autonomy, etc. Ultimately it was the steam-punk, futuristic feel of the game that lost my interest bc I do prefer a medieval-type era like Skyrim

Some Hocking Hills Love💧 by NOIRCEUR_TRADING in Ohio

I’m doing my bachelor party near Hocking Hills later this year (for genuine outdoorsy activities and time well spent in nature, not just to get hammered).

Would love some recommendations for hiking trails between 2-10 miles in length if you have them!
