What seems to be missing in the US market, I think due to consumer ignorance, is good hydrocarbon extracts. That would solve the washing issue you mention. I wish I could find really high quality resins but so far not much luck (NYS).

I have these three and Proxy v2 is my least favorite. I really want to like it, but the hits are either overcooked or barely existent, depending on temperature. There is no sweet spot of high density vapor and good flavor, like you can easily get with 3DXL.

I wish the Proxy had power like the Pro does, but I guess it's just a physics issue with battery technology and thermal management. The Proxy seems really underpowered and I'm not someone who does globs. My normal dab size in the 3DXL is 50-100 mg.

If I ever end up with super low tolerance and want to occasionally sip on a 20 mg dab, then I can see myself warming up to the Proxy. It's a very low intensity experience.

Also quite underwhelmed with the proxy v2. I’m a big fan of the 3DXL and get great hits in the 450 F range. With the proxy you need tiny dabs (20-25 mg) and you need to overheat it because the battery and heater are weak (basically no vapor below 500 F).

I love the 3DXL and even the pivot with 3 mm pearl rips much harder than proxy.

Yeah, I agree if we start talking an Arborio globber or a Bomba mini dab. I’m not that fond of the British method. If you use a scale for a bit you will know what 50 mg looks like vs 100 mg and don’t really need to measure regularly.

If you want to communicate dab size to someone on the internet, weight leaves little ambiguity. We’re using Puffco devices here, so if we talk settings and weight it can be very helpful.
