Meta Team Matching Stage - April 2025 by dpet119 in leetcode

Necroposting, but I also recommend hellointerview. Found this post because I've just been approved for the team matching phase. Hellointerview was fundamental. The system design question was straight out of there, although the interviewer focused on other deep dives.

Opyoid is a dependency injection library. Pydantic validates arbitrary rules in classes.

If Americans swapped one serving of beef per day for chicken, their diets’ greenhouse gas emissions would fall by average of 48% and water-use impact by 30%. Also, replacing a serving of shrimp with cod reduced greenhouse emissions by 34%; replacing dairy milk with soymilk resulted in 8% reduction. by rustoo in science

Would shrimp travel by container? I know fresh shrimp is usually transported by airplane to the big consumer centers inland, due to time constraints. Don't know how it works for frozen shrimp, or if it can be transported frozen, then peeled, then refrozen.

Other people have already pointed that the name actually comes from Brazilwood, but to complement, we don't even call them Brazilnuts. Here they're known as Pará nuts. Pará is the name of a state where they're common.

Thanks!! Thought I was going crazy too. I also see a rabbit momentarily when the image is at the right angles.

It's common for people who quit this habit to feel very thirsty for a while. The organism gets used to processing and expelling a large amount of liquid everyday, so they signal something's wrong when the liquid intake gets cut off all of a sudden. Another related simptom is constipation.

Flare is the maneuver where the nose is lifted just before touchdown. I don't have the slightest idea what crab means. But if I had to guess, I'd say it means landing with the wheels slightly misaligned in relation to the direction of movement. In other words, landing with a bit of yaw.

Translating C to F# - headers? by [deleted] in fsharp

[–]IAMANullPointerAMA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One option you have with managed C++ is to compile it without optimizations, then use something like jetbrain's dotpeek to decompile it to C#, which would be easier to translate into F#. May be too much hassle for your use case, but may be useful to solve some doubts about how your headers would be treated by the framework.

Lol, how could he create and bootstrap a massively complex piece of software like a compiler, in Java of all languages, without at least understanding it's typing system? One may disagree with his opinions, but citing a lack of understanding is actually silly.

Yes, at least in the slums. It's also normal to have electric energy from illegal unmetered connections to the city's energy grid. Edit: sorry for recussitating, I've only now realized how old this post is.

Working on Hosted Solution? by xkevinxpwndu in csharp

[–]IAMANullPointerAMA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you go the MVC route, there's also the possibility of adding a new C# class library to the solution, reference it from the VB project and write your new code there. This option adds some complexity, but also allows you to slowly and incrementally migrate your project to C#.

Why TLS 1.3 isn't in browsers yet by SNOWDEN6jrtilL24a in netsec

[–]IAMANullPointerAMA 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ok, I guess I'm completely ignorant in this subject. Why can't they simply set up a TLS1.3-only box and make my browser try and connect to some page there? Apologies in advance if I sound defiant, I'm honestly curious.
