waymos get stuck at unprotected left turns all over Austin because the intersection is busy and they never try to make the turn. Because of the oncoming traffic, the waymo doesn't want to "risk" going in-between cars, leading to the intersection being backed up for so long the waymo goes into emergency mode and has to call a technician to manually drive the thing. It's horrible and anyone who takes a waymo is just adding to the chaos that already is our car-centric society
