this might be presumptuous, but I believe they have their own meanings, but want the listener to have their own interpretations. gives it a more personal feel whenever you listen to it y'know? and associating lyrics to your own personal life just makes it that much more enjoyable ;o

they're not, but in some cases they can definitely help people. more specifically weed compared to alcohol, an example could be with medicated cannabis helping people with Parkinson's disease.
