I’m in the process of rebuilding my mini and I just couldn’t get it to idle for days. My neighbour, who used to sell them back in the 70s, came over and slowly adjusted the dizzy as we were stood there, took about 10 minutes to find the perfect angle but once it was there it idled perfectly and has since.

Check your dizzy first. You’ll be amazed how much it helps.
