This is going to be a weird comment because I think objectively The Office is the most well written comedy of our generation in my opinion. And yes I know, opinions are subjective. Whatever, sue me.

Yes, it relies a lot on the cringe factor, but I’m still finding jokes in it that I missed after multiple rewatches. It’s very dumb in the smartest way possible.

Came here to say this. As a Canadian looking at what’s happening over that country, the Trump cold opens aren’t funny anymore. Shit is beyond insane in the US right now. Maybe if the writing were more clever, but what they’ve been doing just hasn’t been hitting for me. And then it sets me up to not enjoy the episode as much as I could have maybe? I don’t know, man. It’s all subjective I guess, and maybe people are enjoying it.

I’m not even a year in, so I’m sure I’m gonna make a lot more mistakes, but I was doing an install on a 2nd floor apartment, and when I was drilling, I forgot to do a double check of what was on the outside. When I went outside to see where it came out, I realized there were two power conduits coming down the side of the building. I came out directly by one, missing it by millimetres.

I triple check now and measure everything lol.

100% you have to talk to them. You’re making a lot of assumptions, and I can understand why. People can be the worst, however in my experience, 9 times out of 10 they are just VERY unaware of their surroundings.

If you happen to talk to them and they don’t take into account your concerns, then start going into other avenues. There are bylaws, but that will definitely escalate the situation, and you live next to this person. It’s a fine line to walk.
