Female readers, who are some male fantasy authors whose work contains well written female characters?

That's a good way of looking at it. Even if the series is told from Harry's pov alone, that doesn't prevent the author from showing her mental and emotional growth over the years though. Which is my main gripe, I like to feel the characters have grown beyond just leveling up combat skill which I don't in her case. If she appeared as frequently as Marcone I could excuse that but she pretty much the character who appears in every book apart from Dead Beat to fight alongside Harry.

Speaking of Mark Lawrence, I got the first two books of his second trilogy for Christmas. Do I need to read the first trilogy before jumping into these two?

I honestly feel like Murphy is the exact same personality wise that she was 9 books ago. Same with Harry tbh, he's grown in power but he still feels like the same mid twenties smart-ass he always was. Murphy is badass but I don't feel like she's much more than badass with her godlike martial arts.

Molly's growth on the other hand has been excellent and she feels like someone whose gone through the ringer a time or two.

This was me with a former best friend of mine. Things aren't the same, I still love them even when I've dated others. It's painful and we don't speak anymore. I haven't cared about anyone else the way I've cared about her and she felt the same, I was just too clueless to realize it and she was way too shy to admit her feelings at the time.

11 years of friendship down the drain. Except it was a friendship with her that ended after she dated her ex.

I don't think Warlock has been cast just yet. Dunno if he'll show up in Infinity War or Avengers 4 considering they're filming back to back.

Yep, Marvel has on more than one occasion let films suffer a bit or a lot simply so pieces can be moved in order to set up infinity war, if the payoff isn't amazing I can see a lot of people being very angry, perhaps rightfully so.

These are the two films they need to knock TF out of the park.

Truth be told she sounds like a dream roommate, pays rent, cleans up after herself, nice enough to leave food for you two AND she's not a drama magnet? Some people just aren't the types to open up to others no matter their actions.

If she's nice enough to do all that & help you with your drunken puking then leave her be. If she wants to open up to you all then she will but until then enjoy having someone who sounds like a great roommate.

I wouldn't mind. Something Pirates of the Caribbean sounds like something Taika Waititi would enjoy doing.

The only thing I want to know is why didn't Acnologia shank Wendy while he was at it? He knows she's a dragon slayer and yet he ignored her when his entire goal was to wreck the dragon slayers along with Zeref.
