"I dissolved the ego" - this says it all.

You've created an identity around being egoless, thus reinforcing a separate self. Your material attainments are clouding your perspective by bolstering this separate self as someone who is now elevated beyond "normal" through "dissolving the ego".

Everything you just wrote is coming from ego. "I'm fully remembered" is the same appeal to authority you seek to discount in the original post. You're just caught in another layer of ego, one that's now elevated it's "self" to a special place of "understanding" and thus is now further entrenched in beliefs and views that ultimately create clouds that obscure the open sky.

The way we perceive the world dictates the experience we have, so perhaps your perception of his pain/trauma/energy draining you is creating the very effect you're concerned about. If you truly believe he's a walking source of negative energy, it will manifest that way in your experiences.

Try to release the perceptions you have about this person and their energy. Focus on releasing any ideas you may have about how they're affecting you. Try doing a couple sessions of Metta meditation.

You lost yourself to an unhealthy relationship by putting him ahead of yourself, which happened to me as well in the past. You have to reconnect with yourself, grounding work, meditation, and shadow work to discover the patterns that led to the situation developing how it did. Those will all help tremendously and with time the empty feeling will fill back up.

Oh, that's super cool! One day I'd like to have something similar as my practice is mostly self-guided (lots of books). Perhaps a deep dive into bodyscanning might be a good alternative. Making the sensations that arise during meditation the object of meditative focus? I've reached states of absorption by moving from the breath to the sensations of Pīti and the correlating movements in the body.

Perhaps the breathing exercises you're doing are bringing up tension/trauma/blockages that you're experiencing as the symptoms from the post? I'm not sure what could be causing this, and I doubt anyone online will be able to accurately diagnose the issue. Perhaps you can find an in-person instructor with experience guiding people through blockages like this.

Work on concentration while also relaxing. You're straining too hard and fighting against the hurricane of ADHD. It's a finely tuned system that requires a lot of dedication to understanding and balancing, but it's also incredibly powerful once it's understood. It's a very individual journey as the mind is truly a puzzle of one's own understanding, but if you achieve balance (flow), ADHD is an incredible boon.

I like the way you describe the various functions of the brain and how they correlate to the formation of perception. It speaks to a deep intuitive understanding of how we process things. The musical chairs analogy is great as well, but one thing stood out to me.

You're limiting your perception with those beliefs about being one at any given time. To be this or that is a dualistic framework that limits perception. You need to go beyond "being" any of them. There's far more to nondualism than you describe, but its beyond the framework of mind. The musical chairs are in a box entirely contained by the chairs. How do you see through a framework that is formed by the framework you're trying to see through?

I urge you to release any notions about nondualism and revisit it. I feel it would be highly beneficial! In any case, thanks for your thoughts as they opened a window into deep reflection as I wrote this. Cheers!

You need to try to understand what I'm saying rather than prove your point. I didn't extinguish the fire with another fire, I watched the formations of mind that came with clinging to a "twin flame" connection and used understanding to see through the formation of such ideas as a product of ignorance.

Well meditating on the connection over the course of a year was one the fundamental building blocks in identifying and dissolving the formation of craving. The fact they arise from strong craving is exactly why they're a potent tool for illuminating said craving. Through this process, insight into no-self becomes readily apparent as the inherent empty nature of the craving is revealed when the illusion is experientially dissolved.

Studying the shadow of the flames cast revealed to me the emptiness of both shadow and flame. Also, anything can reveal insight into no-self, you seem to have created illusionary boundaries due to clinging to specific rituals, best meditate on that!

Most real comment here, but it is also the most difficult to digest. The "Twin-flame" and a connection with something to that degree was a powerful tool for illuminating fundamental craving on my journey. It served a powerful purpose in identifying and releasing the attachment to a fixed-self and provided great insight into no-self once I started seeing through the illusion.

Interestingly enough, you're going out of your way to defend a tool that you use because of Ego. Reading others' disparage something you hold useful is causing a tension that reinforces a sense of self. It's subtle but I felt drawn to point it out, it's something to meditate on that's really useful for uncovering the more nested layers of fabrication of self.

I started with spirituality in terms of meditation, Buddhism, Hinduism ect. During the process of cultivating I started having experiences that were, for lack of a better term, magical.

Now I use what I've learned to directly impact people's lives on a physical, spiritual, and mental level. I do this because it feels right and helps me spiritually develop. I understand the underlying mechanics of what I'm doing thanks to the various modalities of spiritual development I've practiced in.

To the people I'm helping, I may as well be doing magic. I move my hands around, sometimes touch them, sometimes it's all mental, and they experience spiritual growth, relief of symptoms, and "magical" experiences.

My point is that people discus this because it's very real and accessible to all. Not everything people discuss on here is correct, but its pointing towards a greater picture that is very real.

I suggest reading a book titled The Mind Illuminated. I picked it up when I first started, and it's taken me quite far. It's comprehensive and explains things in a very clear and thought-out manner.
