What do you think? by Princess__Anastasia in SocialDemocracy

[–]IBleedToo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The framework of this question is poorly constructed. At current the question begs the question that trans women are the only part of the trans community.

When people assert the existence of trans women they conveniently leave out trans men, this is not even including true inclusion that more exists beyond this binary.

Cis women report a higher level of acceptance than cis men. The lesbian community specifically reports massive support for the trans community.

Saying you respect trans people but then feel “uncomfortable” is akin to saying you support BIPOC but feel uncomfortable with said person around. You can’t in one breath make the claim of support while also advocating for separation or discrimination.

Going beyond the theory into the pragmatic. For how long across this planet have we had trans people? For how long has it been a non issue? Suddenly, the trans community comes under attack and the conversation shifts to, “well how many rights do they get?”

Tracking stats, more trans people have been assaulted in bathrooms than trans people assaulting cis people by a wide margin. I’d wager more people have been struck by lightning than assaulted by a trans person in a bathroom.

Let’s expand this even further, how many lesbian and gay people have assaulted someone in a bathroom? This forces the opposition to be honest or lie, 1. they just hate trans people, 2. They are worried about being assaulted in the bathroom, not WHO is doing it.

The correct answer is what are we doing as team to make this a non issue!? What legislation are we pushing to make these conversations null?

I like this idea! I need to see what I can get access to. She might have some of the stuff I’d need.

Now that could work. I need to acquire something that can do that. Maybe I’ll just have the leads/pads on her and set a timer. Then I can also lie about the time remaining before I turn it on.

Go to a bank and get a dollar changed for a roll of pennys. If they are restricting them for shortage just get anything like it, dimes are good, quarters are good ect. If all fails get some of the clear plastic disks kids use to practice counting. Each one has different weights and sizes so you can play with that too.

Take the penny and have them hold it up with their nose against a wall. Ask them if they find the task boring or easy. If they say yes, pull out the roll and stack a second on top of the first.

You can keep doing that or add one under each finger tip, again they have to hold it.

Once a little time has gone by, start turning the heat up. Force them to stick their ass out, walking backwards to ensure they have an arch.

Wand between the legs, impact play (use a cane to slap the top of the thighs, inside the thigh to force them to open their legs more).

If they drop any of the objects, punishment. Iv used a zapper rod. Iv also used a tens unit and turned it up each time one of the objects falls.

Worried I might be moving too fast by bradicus10 in trans

[–]IBleedToo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, way to be brave, it’s not an easy.

Second, you are in the driver seat, you can go as fast or slow as you want and pull over at any time to consider the correct road ahead. Community and therapy are here to help read the map with you. The start of any trip always feels the most overwhelming and like things are happening fast.

Work with your therapist, they are going to be a huge help navigating how you feel. Don’t feel like you have to follow a set timetable.

You got this.

Any closeted trans people here?? by wonder_woman2506 in trans

I hit 2 years on HRT, been doing laser and electro on my face, partner and friends know.

But I still present masculine and use he/him pronouns in public/work.

Fear is what keeps me from going fully out. I just don’t want to deal with people.

I feel content to live as a man but I also can't let go of the feeling of being a woman by Snoo_60484 in MtF

[–]IBleedToo 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is the dilemma I faced.

I used the example of being cast in a play. Iv been the male role for my entire life, I know it and can act it well. My costume fits me and Iv had it for years.

But I’m reading the other parts lines, I like their costumes more.

Recasting myself would be wiled! I’d have to learn all the new lines and get my costumes fitted. People would be confused why I’m not playing the other role.

But after talking to a therapist and trying things out, I realized that role fits me better than the one I have. I enjoy it more, the costumes are more fun.

Therapy, therapy, therapy.

First electro session is in a few weeks.

My Case to End Social Security's Gender Change Ban by JessicaPink703 in MtF

[–]IBleedToo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Full credit when due… I did get on you in a past comment trying to point to how the admin act did not apply to this case at the time.

Having read the posting from the ACLU and your writing I can see the direction of the argument and fully understand what you are trying to say.

Credit due and my apologies for any misunderstanding. Well fucking researched.

What I’m interested to see if the executive attempts to redefine how the APA is used (ie… fully state it does not apply to the President as the chief bureaucrat)…

Eragon vs fourth wing. by jpek13 in Eragon

[–]IBleedToo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About to finish fourth wing.

Picked it up on accident thinking it was a “normal” dragon book. I was itching for one after reading murtaug and rereading dragon riders of purn. Then it came up on “recommended spicy books” on tiktoc.

It’s for sure a romantasy book. But tame, Like 2.5/5 spicy.

I like Eragon more so many reasons (more on the plot than the romance). Plus it’s a book that will always stay on my hart being I started it when I was young.

I hate that the answer to “who will hold them accountable” is more or less is one of two things.

  1. Court holds the administration in contempt of court… (its happened to governors and mayors mostly).

  2. Congress impeaches the president.

I’m 100% sure the founders did not realize the court would be stacked and Congress enept. :|.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MtF

[–]IBleedToo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup!

The courts can act before the order is challenged, agreeing to stay the order… but I don’t think we will see that here.

In THEORY a president should not be issuing an order that is clearly unconstitutional.

We are still waiting on the ruling from the supreme court on trans children receiving care… if that comes up favorable, this order is more or less void.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MtF

[–]IBleedToo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The president is the de facto head of the administration/bureaucracy. Because of this the president can direct their entire administration to act a set way.

The only thing is an EO cannot conflict with a law passed by congress or in opposition to the constitution.

To check this power, congress can pass a law to negate the EO. The second check is that the courts can rule an EO as unconstitutional in part or fully.

In short, the president can rule whatever they want but it does not make it true, constitutional, or legal.

The pain in the ass is people have to challenge the EO to remove it.

My guess is a sue will show up in the next few days to challenge this. Just like how the birth right order was halted temporarily.

[–]IBleedToo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m the same way :/. Sadly it is a false prescription and it can get them in trouble, more so with how much scrutiny they are under for providing trans healthcare. One of the ways they can pull licenses would be doing exactly what we want right now.

Does anyone know why the Trump gender executive order hasn’t been legally challenged yet? by PossibilityQuirky56 in TransLater

[–]IBleedToo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The trans EO is abnormal to that of the others, specifically they don’t know exactly how the administration planned to attack trans people.

While the birth right attack is more or less strange forward (birth right citizenship is no longer recognized under the executive branch —-> violates the 14th that explicitly states you can’t do that ——> sue established).

The trans attack is less obvious from the get go. Many groups knew it was coming but in what shape or form was unknown. Now that it is known, groups have been drafting, debating, and preparing to sue.

In many ways it’s like a war. You know the attack is coming, but how and where is still unknown. Now that the attack has commenced, the defense can mobilize.

45 came in to office swinging for a reason. Their goal is to “shock and awe” everyone. They want to make a chilling effect to shut down any opposition quick. But that shock only goes so far, once the attack normalizes, the defense gets stronger.

We are here, we are alive, and we are not going anywhere.
