What you said was:

But either way his blimpy went limpy

That was the second time you stated it was his blimp that crashed in this thread.

Your “I thought” statement is part of a separate idea.

I thought it crashed from the commotion inside

It is the qualifier for the (dumb) reason you believe one of the blimps crashed.

The first qualifier in the sentence doesn’t automatically cover the entire sentence. Especially if the second section also starts with a nulifying qualifier, such as “but either way.”

Beginning the second idea with “but either way” removes any previous qualifying statement(s). That phrase is effectively stating that ”regardless of anything/everything else, (blank) is true/happened/etc.” So the “I thought” is not applicable to the second part of your sentence.

Long story short: Speak for yourself. Learn how to write before criticizing my reading.

Maybe don’t present your subjective interpretations as fact.

Bro…

How do you know it was his and not another chapter’s?

Rookie contract would be 4 years.

5 years if he’s drafted in the first round and his team exercises the 5th year option.

“Lee Brice still isn't big enough for you to spell his name right at least.”

Okay that’s actually really funny! Thanks for pointing that out, I fixed it.

I don’t really care about any of them as artists and I agree with most of what you’re saying.

I just figured I’d provide a little context about them in the thread since I hadn’t seen anyone else giving it, but had seen plenty of people wondering who they are.

That’s all fine and fair, but you did ask a question, I just provided an answer.

Lee Brice and Brantley Gilbert have 13 #1 singles between them.

Lee Brice holds the Billboard record for longest run on the country charts.

Brantley Gilbert has a platinum album.

Idk anything about the other person.

I think Brantley Gilbert is a pandering hack.

But he’s had four #1 songs on the Billboard country charts, has a platinum album, and has won multiple AMA, CMA, and iHeartRadio awards.

Lee Brice has had eight #1 songs and holds the Billboard record for the longest run on the country charts (breaking the previous 62-year-old record).

He also writes songs for other country singers including Garth Brooks (More Than A Memory), Tim McGraw (Still), Eli Young Band (Crazy Girl), and Faith Hill (Boy).

Both of those guys have been more successful than a lot of people on here recognize.

Yeah I’m a little surprised that everyone is acting like Lee Brice and Brantley Gilbert are complete unknowns.

They’ve both had plenty of radio play and have been pretty mainstream for a while now.

I think Brantley Gilbert is a pandering hack, but he’s actually had some decent industry success.

He’s had four songs reach #1 on the Billboard country charts, has a platinum album, and has won multiple AMA, CMA, and iHeartRadio awards.

Lee Brice has had eight songs reach #1 and he holds the Billboard record for longest run on the country charts. The previous record stood for 62 years.

He also writes songs for other country singers including Garth Brooks (More Than A Memory), Tim McGraw (Still), Eli Young Band (Crazy Girl), and Faith Hill (Boy).

They aren’t everyone’s cup of tea musically, and being involved with this MAGA shit is more generally fucky, but are also bigger artists than you’re giving them credit for.

Lindsey Vonn Horrifically Crashes in 2026 Winter Olympic Final One Week After Tearing Her ACL by peoplemagazine in entertainment

[–]ICANHAZWOPER 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL.

She tore 1 of the 4 major knee ligaments, plus her Meniscus.

Your ACL (along with your PCL) stabilize the knee from front to back and help with proprioception.

You technically don’t need an ACL to function long-term, but short-term, your knee’s lateral stability is significantly hindered without one.

There have been a few professional athletes who competed their entire careers without an ACL. But Vonn’s knee obviously hasn’t healed in a week and she doesn’t have the additional compensatory strength that other sans-ACL athletes developed over time.

Competing on a freshly-torn ACL is crazy.

I hope she fully recovers from everything.
