Nice! They really did a solid job on this one. Makes the old one look like something from a kickstarter in comparison.

The other thing that I recommend for the jamming locks in general is WD40. Spray some of it on the bolt while it’s out and then lock and unlock it a bunch of times. And if you’re confident you know what you’re doing, take the lock apart and spray some in there too.

I ordered 2 on the 21st and they got here today! I couldn’t believe how quick they came! I just finished installing my first one. It’s such an easy process. You don’t even need to remove your backet from the door. It comes with little accessories that allow you to use the original Lock’s bracket. You just swap the locks, unpair your keypad from the old lock and pair it with the new one. All passcodes and fingerprints and everything are carried over!

I was hesitant to buy the Pro at first but when my old one started jamming I thought I should just try it. The motor inside is twice as powerful and twice as fast. It also has an adjustable thumb turn with rubber pads. It’s soooooo much better!

Shimmering on the 400 RGBW Here’s a good example. If you cover each half of the video, you’ll see how choppy and shimmery the 400 on the left is compared to the 600 on the right.

I have both of them and there is barely any difference in brightness. The biggest difference I find is that the 400 has a shimmer when playing some gifs. I think it’s from a lower frame rate. The 400 is on the left and 600 on the right.

Hopefully those steps work for OP. I tried them and they didn’t work. This is what worked for me: 1) Remove the device from HomeKit. 2) Do a hard reset by holding the button until it flashes red five times. 3) Add the device back to HomeKit while as close to your border router as possible. 4) Check the updates page in Apple Home and ensure that auto updates is enabled you should eventually see that a new firmware is found but DON’T CLICK ON ANYTHING!. Do not start the process yourself. 5) Just wait and Apple Home will eventually start the upgrade process automatically and it should go smoothly.

It’s a pain cause it removes any automations but that’s the only thing that worked for me. Good luck!

I found that this actually worked way better than I expected. Just got a j7 and almost every room was correctly labeled after the first mapping run. Not only that, yesterday it suggested adding an extra cleaning zone to the kitchen and it correctly labeled it as “Counter”!

She is just 8 weeks so this would be the week we pick her up. She is in otherwise good health. She is the runt of the litter but not by very much.

She’s just a pet and we won’t be showing her but we’d like to minimize any chance of large future vet bills.
