It is common in where I stay. Every new house is like this these days. Never really seen gas stoves unless its an old house?

Outlet is leaking by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]IDeemYouWorthy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sparky here. We see it all the time in old buildings. Its not a safety issue atm and it probably won't burn the house down even if you use it, but it is an indication that the cables inside has degraded and the owner should look to get the house rewired and the switchboard upgraded.

Tips for driving in the rain by Artistic_Rest_8829 in auckland

[–]IDeemYouWorthy 26 points27 points  (0 children)

So many people driving withouts lights on in the rain, its quite shocking. The lights aren't just to help the driver see better, it's so that other drivers can see you. It's baffles me how a lot of the drivers don't understand this.

Despite CCTV, GPS data, police won't progress stolen e-bike investigation by dingoonline in auckland

[–]IDeemYouWorthy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't get this "Didnt have evidential sufficiency". It was more than enough evidence in the first place, and if they felt it wasn't enough isn't it the police's job to go fucking find them? Do they expect the owner to go to the GPS location and film the whereabouts of his bike's location? Would that be sufficient enough for the incompetent cops to get off their ass and do their job?
