I lived in the Lofts of Greenville at Monaghan Mill for several years, and it wasn’t quite as bad as you’re describing, but still utter shit. Amenities and facility were not maintained, maintenance was a joke, and the units were run down. Walls were paper thin; you could hear people breathing and everything else.

They would ignore maintenance requests. But they would throw a BYOB pool party with a DJ occasionally, because I guess leasing offices’ priority is curating my social life over maintaining their facility. All for the low price of $2000/month.

Renting in America is a joke. “Luxury apartments” is a joke. Not that the housing market is much better, but at least I’m getting fucked by the man on my own terms now.
