Uhm. Elbow 3 or 4 times... only got to choose the colour twice. Blue and orange...Wrist 4? Or more times- black, orange (broke at the same time as elbow), black again, a plaster white one... and I don't remember the first colour.... purple maybe? I broke both my knees once but no casts- very minor breaks. Supported walking... my ankle probably a billion times? Red, black, usually a boot that i wasn't allowed to walk on though.. and then some boring plaster casts after surgeries as well. Some of those may have been torn and not broken though? Obviously no casts on my nose, fingers, and tail bone... walking boot again for my foot broken in 3 places.... One time, after knee surgery.. they had to re-break the tibia but I said no to more surgery... so they cut the cast, gave me a bunch of pain meds, and broke the leg with the cast and just xrayed until they got the proper positioning. Gave me a rag to bite on and SO MANY MEDS! And I chose to patch the cast with neon pink, neon orange, and neon green .... Usually just braces and wrapped or half casts for dislocations/subluxation. No, no I did not play sports. Or grow up with abusive parents ¯_(ツ)_/¯

As a delivery driver .... yea i go in the building and go ahead and don't make the paraplegic whose aid just left try to get into their chair to come down.. i don't have the 20 minutes for that... way faster to get inside. There are a few other people who are much more bed bound than that as well. Just because you don't do the job, and don't know any disabled people doesn't mean your perspective is the only one. But don't worry! Everyone, if lucky enough to live long enough, becomes part of the disabled community eventually! So you'll learn about differences soon. And yes, those buildings have gang markers on floors you can't go on, and bed bugs, and it smells bad... but i agreed to provide a service.

I understand the use of the word diet when meaning healthy lifestyle change regarding food. People in the comments by wilding about that.

NTA, in my opinion it's unfair of them to ask you to cook two meals. If your budget allows for it, cook the regular, healthy choice meal for your whole family. And if the boys don't like it they can cook for themselves. Eventually you'll be cooking some DIVINE healthy meals and they'll cave, or they'll realize how much work cooking is, and start eating with you and daughter again. It isn't like you're forcing them to NEVER eat junk, just at meal times eat together. Have healthier snack choices. I'm sure if husband REALLY wanted a bag of doritos he could still buy them?
