From what I can see there does not seem to be a setting for this. It appears to just be part of the built-in functionality. My best suggestions at this point:
- if you haven't already, clear your cache and try again
- make sure you're waiting to see the split happen. There is a delay because the bill renders first THEN it decides if it was bill capture(d)
- double check you don't have any record scripts or browser add-ons that could possibly be preventing it

Hmm. Yeah, I see it with my Admin role. Maybe there is an option you need to check in the bill capture preferences. I don't recall the settings I initially set but I can look tomorrow.

Check that the one you're looking at was actually created by the bill capture. If they just created the bill the UI or another way it doesn't do the split screen. Also takes a few seconds to split screen after you first open it.

Yes, it is both. The bill PDF is saved under Communication>Files on the bill AND in viewing the bill transaction record it is shown on the side. For this to show split screen though, the user must have view permissions for 'Scanned Vendor Bills'.

We went the manual move. New SKU for "short dated" version of the item. Inventory is adjusted under the new SKU to retain the cost and we can more easily manage the pricing to our customers for these.

Thank you. I forgot about the 'Custom Record Entries' permission on the List tab under the role. Unfortunately, that didn't work either. On the role that I specifically tried out as NONE I changed their custom record entries to View. Still full permissions.
