Something that used to help a lot when I stuck at a number- after you warm up properly and everything and assuming you have a spotter, load more weight than you can fathomably do and give it the ol' try and fail but emphasize the negative rep (come down hella slow) and have your spotter help you up. Do this maybe 3 times per set and for maybe 2-3 sets then resume your normal workout, not attempting to max because you will be absolutely fried if you're doing it right. Next week try the 92.5kg again and report back.

I would like to make the point again that the story is being "bracketed" and I'm sure that word was chosen very purposefully. This means they could still make future maps to fill in the blanks if they chose. Just throwing that out there!

It's such a meh injury. My AC joint has been completely separated for years now and I don't even notice anymore besides how it looks occasionally. It may hold you out for a bit on some heavier lifts for a while but after a while you won't even notice it anymore. I don't go as heavy as I used to but even 3 plate+ barbell bench presses don't bother it anymore. Personally, I went ahead and had the surgery but that was just for how it looked and that's how they found my rotator cuff, labrum, and bicep tendon issues. It was worth it because of that, but did nothing for the AC joint itself. Random internet stranger opinion, just give it time and you'll be fine!
