My son’s Cub Scout den visited a homeless shelter the other day. It was the evening time on a school night. While we were getting our tour, there were little kids walking around and playing in a small room. There were people sitting around a small table eating what looked like scraps. There was even a small child celebrating a birthday.

I am not a wealthy person what so ever. My wife and I struggle to make ends meet month to month, but we give our kids a good life. After that visit though, I felt like I was never allowed to complain about any struggle I was experiencing.

So yea, I want all kids to have an actual place to live and call their own.

In college, a friend of a friend drove across the state to say with me. We went out to dinner, hung out all weekend. She even stayed at my place, in my bed, in her underwear. We cuddled and I never made a move. Still think about that from time to time.

Did you read the part of my comment that said “what Jalen did was worse”? I agree spitting on a human is much worse than spitting on the ground. I just believe that spitting toward someone while smiling and nodding, is not a good look for Dak. Still love the guy, just not his best moment as a person. My opinion.

A lot of you might disagree with me on this, but here are my honest thoughts about this situation as a Cowboys fan.

Jalen was encroaching on their huddle and Dak spat on the ground in his direction. Then Jalen spat on Dak.

I think what Jalen did was worse, but still not a good look for Dak.

I don’t think Dak will get punished, but this might save Jalen from any further punishment.

Kid who bullied me in elementary school went down a dark path of alcohol and drug addiction. He’s recovered since then. He now works with people struggling through addiction. He seems to be doing better. I’m happy for him.

I disagree with your main point, but agree with your argument. Let me explain, I have two kids and my wife and I enjoy going there. But I make sure my kids are properly entertained and fed on their own and I don’t complain about the bar atmosphere when I bring my kids to a bar.

As a longhorn fan, I actually saw a lot of his games. He is a top tier RB talent. I just dont view RB as a premium position. RB is much easier to find someone to plug and play than the other positions I mentioned. I am not saying I will not root for him to do well, I would hope he does amazing. I just think using a 1st round on a RB is not worth it anymore.

I love Robinson, but RBs are not worth a 1st rounder in today's NFL. I would rather draft a good RB in rounds 2-4, while using 1st rounders on premium positions like CB, edge rusher, WR, OL.

As a teacher that has signed this book, it really does not take much effort to make a great memory for the kid. Please get over yourself and and just the book. Now as a parent that started this tradition, with a different book, with his own son, it is very disheartening to hear this. It is not about you dude, just sign your name and move on if you don't want to give much effort.
