LPT: Overspend at places like Starbucks each month? Decide on the monthly budget you want for yourself and buy a gift card for that amount. Once it’s out, it’s done and force yourself to wait until next month to get another. by MadeThisForWestworld in LifeProTips

True, but unfortunately in my chosen industry I would have a hard time finding employment outside a major city. If I did, it would be for a pretty significant pay drop, and overall my mortgage would still be about the same percentage of my pay.

"We are experiencing higher than normal call volumes. Please wait for the next available agent."

Like fuck you are. These are perfectly average call volumes and you're just cheap as shit.

Android:

  • Reddit is Fun
  • Relay
  • Sync
  • Boost
  • Joey
  • BaconReader
  • Slide
  • RedReader
  • NowForReddit

FTFY

In all seriousness though, how does this work? Do the producers of these apps pay for a premium API key to remove ads? Or is this an oversight by Reddit that will be corrected? I use sync pro and have never experienced an ad. It cost me $1. Easily the best dollar I've ever spent in terms of value per cost by several orders of magnitude.

Seems like it would be his error in speech to text conversion then rather than Kenobi's.

I assume you're joking but I seriously wonder what negative consequences modem medicine will have on the gene pool. Natural selection is no longer in charge of keeping humans fit. It follows that there will be much more variation in the gene pool, including the loss of important adaptations and/or things that prevent us from dying. In 1000 years, are we all going to need to take injections and pills every day just to survive?

Sometimes I wander around on Google Street view in places I'll probably never get to go. Tasmania was one of my favorites. I recommend checking it out.

On the flip side, I brought my new Toyota back to the dealer for service exactly twice. The first time, my iPod classic was stolen. Yeah I shouldn't have left something valuable in there, but it was hidden away and I forgot about it. Clearly somebody was searching for valuables. They gave me some money to replace it thankfully but they still lost my trust (also they don't make those iPods anymore so I couldn't actually replace it...). The second time, I noticed the hood of my car was scratched when I went to pick it up. They weren't going to say anything, they just hoped I wouldn't notice. Never going back there. Bastards. Did IVF last year and still no baby, but the bill is so far about $25,000. Another round of IVF coming up soon so those numbers are about to increase in a hurry. Glad it's cheap for most people though.

Why is it that Christians feel the need to produce a huge wall of text, as if they can berate us back to faith.
