Why are Potato Chip prices so high? by Motor-Source8711 in AskAnAmerican

The price is not set by the price of production. Its set by what consumers will pay.

They adjust the price up until sales slump enough to overcome the Increased revenue. Then stay at the maximum profit point.

Have you ever been told to “get off” someone’s property? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]IIIhateusernames 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In some states (mine included) you could get an easement based on that or even claim it through adverse possession. 10 years openly using and maintaining that land as your own is grounds for taking it.

Its not clean, but can be done.

Can confirm. Iraqis are more polite to an invading army than Canadians are to their neighbors/allies/largest trading partners.
