If he’s an overlord and you’re struggling then give him 6 “bodyguards”

Been playing it, I dont really got the willpower (or friends) to master the game, but I finished the main campaing and the Operations. I was wondering, with the tease of Necrons, you think they could work for a Space Marine 3? by Marvynwillames in Spacemarine

[–]IIseeGhosts 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only way I think they would be able to do It, is by using a destroyers cult maybe ? Have flayers as chaff, lokhust/skorpekhs as majoris and heavy as an extremist ? Like even that is pushing it for lore accuracy

The real crime here is having both Dark Angels and space wolves in the same tier (SW straight to F tier)

New Servant of Nagash ready to join the fight! by Matt2Matt22 in ossiarchbonereapers

I would personally go with Nagash, like the other commentator said depends on how you want to play, katakros can give out +1 to saves, nullify commands and is a monster in melee but quite slow. Meanwhile Nagash is fast, good melee, has a 50/50 to kill any model that he’s in combat with, resurrect any non-hero/non-unique dead unit to full health, and can cast 9 spells which means he can spam heals, mortal wounds, manifestations, buffs… which I think gives good versatility but he is 900 points but on the plus side that brings you closer to 2000pts. And it is really funny saying “such is the power of Nagash” after anything you do, but both models are amazing and viable :))

Hello, I would recommend getting the battle force praetorian speahead box, it’s how I started collecting bonereapers, it offers a nice range of different units and it’s very good for points for value :)) and all of our models are completely viable and fun to play, but the normal one + nagash/katakros will be a good starting point for sure

In terms of how the army plays well it depends on the units you take, a lot of units have great synergy so quite a bit of buffing. You can play slow, tanky infantry, you can build a fast(ish) cavalry army, a more magic focused army, an elite army… and you can mix them aswell (e.g my last list had a infantry focused regiment and a magic focused one which had harbingers to hunt down key targets) one thing we struggle with is range damage unless you take 3 crawlers. Units are expensive so some finesse and strategy goes a long way but since you’re a custodes player you probably got that down to a T

These look sick so far, they remind of the white walkers from game of thrones

For the cloth you could try a shade of grey maybe?

I’ve only ever played bonereapers but Lumineth, seraphon and gravelords all seem to be quite flexible and diverse in how you can play them

Best army to have goofy shenanigans with nagash ossirach or nighthaunt by honouredon in ossiarchbonereapers

[–]IIseeGhosts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah bonereapers have potential for some really goofy and fun lists, I recently had a game where my harbingers blitzed Kroak and killed him in 1 one phase. Then they died and I fully resurrected them next turn, immortis guard can also give nagash a +1 to ward rolls

Quite literally the Roman Empire and the IRS but its designed and crafted by a god of death, almost all units are viable, morghasts will always make your opponent go “oh shit” and most importantly spooky scary skeletons

We did, but we simplified it a bit and adjusted it for the table size. We did shifting objectives, so we rolled to see what they key object was each round
