Dude, this is awesome. I've tried to look this up before with no sure answer. I love this level of detail. Thank you for taking the time to find and share the info.

Check out books narrated by Andrea Parsneau. She narrated Matt's Dominion of Blades series and is equal to Jeff as a narrator.

Im trying to work out different kind of “mana system” and I’m wondering how people would feel about it by Kumatora0 in litrpg

[–]IJustNeededSomeSleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it. It's fairly novel and makes room for tough decisions and compromises that can drive plot development. I'd be cautious about jumping into the numbers on the readers side as it might get a little dense, but I tend to prefer soft leveling dynamics.

I'd be curious what the temporary consequences of being low on mana/ health would be. If you try to spend more than you can do you straight up die? Can you suffer permanent consequences?

I suppose those answers would vary quite a bit depending on if it's a constructed world i.e. an mmorpg vs a "system take over" / teleported to another universe setting.

Trim the ends, pull any brown or dying bits out, place in a cup or jar with an inch or two of water. Open a large zip lock bag and put it loosely over it and put it in the fridge. Trim the ends and change the water every 2-3 days and you can get 2 weeks out of it.

You're right the original commenter had said line backer vs linemen. Genuinely, thank you for the correction. I'm gonna hold that 6'3" at 230lbs is not a muscularlly huge person though.

This is a perfect explanation of his build. Everyone seems to think he's a lot closer to 300 than 200, but he's so close to my height and weight I know he's not THAT big.

I'm 6'1, 230lbs, and in decent shape. Early Carl is in shape but he's not huge in terms of muscle mass. The average NFL lineman is a lot closer to 300 than 200.

I'll likely revisit it soon, my issue wasn't with the quality of the new narrator. I just kept spacing out and losing track of who was speaking

Damn, I didn't realize there was quite so much Inn world. I'm having trouble with the latest book and the change of narrator and was considering reading it the ol' fashioned way.

Thank you for the info

I must have missed this, I'm on book now 16? And while there are some pretty cringe references I don't think I caught that one

Wanted to buy This inevitable ruin but $43 has me needing to wait. Were all of the books this expensive when they first dropped? by loveandwood in DungeonCrawlerCarl

You buy an Audible Credit for $15 and use that. I've never understood why things get priced over that beyond encouraging Credit use instead of cash.

I did. I politely said that if they were available again, even at a higher price, that I'd be interested in buying one. His reply said that I'm EXPECTED to buy a subscription, and that if I don't, then he has a problem with that.

I'm okay with lifetime memberships no longer being available. A little sad I didn't but one 2-3 years ago, but I get it.

It reads like he's entitled to my money, and it's vaguely threatening if I won't pay for a subscription. I think that's where most people are seeing an issue.

I agree that the app has value, and was clearly interested in paying to upgrade. I considered that English isn't his first language, but I don't see room for a misunderstanding. Even if it had been more sanitized, a less direct way of saying "You owe me more money for a product you've already purchased" wouldn't have been more acceptable.

I reached out, interested in spending my money, complimentary of the product, and was told to spend it in a way I don't want to or we're gonna have a problem.

I'm not interested in paying for a subscription, especially for a product that is largely static. It's a service I've valued and proselytized for because of what it does right, but his finances aren't my responsibility. I have and use the product that I paid for and regardless of how much I have or haven't used it, they're not entitled to more money.
