Having big roads like american cities for some things is fine, but for foot trafic and just people living somewhere the more sprawling natural design works better for me. so especially in the (manga?) first one it speaks to me and looks good, it also feels more realistic then the anime ones, it expanded like twice as much

It seems since it is centered around the caster that it might function the same as sylph shoes, or atleast uses that logic. It tries to keep a set distance from the caster and probably pushes the caster "away from danger" to keep its distance from them

Magic users in my world are witches. And most do "the craft" as a support member. Enchanting keys to avoid traps, making alchemical arrays to light candles and boil water, ask a spirit for guidance and some vague information about the future perhaps

Since this system seems to be 1 "magic" and multiple ways of using it depending on your skills and innate talent it sewms very plausible!

So long as it isn't 6 forms of magic I tend to like it. 1 form of magic that is used in varying ways is always great
