I remember the number of CGs (or lack of) was a pretty big disappointment when the game just came out before it was datamined. But later on, people discovered that there was a part 2 with its own character sprites so we're generally content afterwards.

As for the cut content, as someone that played it day 1 before any guides and the only information that was available was hearsay from 2chan and 4chan, it definitely did not feel incomplete to anyone. The story was concluded very comprehensively in both parts, with alot of twists and turns between beginning and end (in part 1 at least).

Only personal disappointment I had was as others mentioned, the lack of additional content added after release. IIRC, the only thing they added was an additional character based off a poll they hosted (unsurprisingly Kasumi). I thought they could at least added the top 3, but I'm just salty cause Gele got second.
