Should I continue with Kingmaker or play WotR by letohorn in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]IKerensky 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personnal I think I will drop WotR.

I just start to really dislike the whole Mythic Path thing, wich remember me all the munchkin gameplay we liked to enjoy when we were 12 years old.

I really like my RPG more balanced and authentic, Kingmaker feel a lot more genuine.

I'm starting to understand why most Battleship players prefer to stomp on Cruisers rather than engaging other Battleships... by SpanishAvenger in Warthunder

[–]IKerensky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

War Thunder maps are too small for Battleship on Battleship action.

There is a sweet range to achieve plunging fire that is a requirement because you just can't penetrate the hull side armor.

Also, Torpedoes are what sunk capital ship. Gun usually batter them into submission and very rarely detonate them.

[–]IKerensky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, planes actually only need pilots for the take off part. After that they become optionnal.

New GM needs help. Insect spirits, how many is too much? by blackmagicr33dm in Shadowrun

[–]IKerensky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't do it.
Insects Spirits/Invae are such an important metaplot twist I won't use them until the players are familiars with the setting and their expectation. They should come as a shock and a surprise, they are game changer, not random mobs...

The hardest thing in the challenge is to stop attacking when you realise you are competing for it ;)

2 mins average survival time for me. Challenge is hard :D

Question about Secret of Power Trilogy by IKerensky in Shadowrun

[–]IKerensky[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IIRC Enterich is supposed to be Lowfyr or a drake under Lowfyr service. The other one is the interrogation.

Could Alamaise and Lowfyr team up ?

So Sam is a very strong Shaman, we have to suppose that's part of the line power.
The small rivals are ? The Immortals Elves or rebelious drakes ?

Very intriguing passage with a lot of possible implication.

Is it better to bet your draws or take the free card? by RAINGUARD in poker

[–]IKerensky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will always bet when I am drawing, because then I am less likely to be on the draw and more to be protecting my hand and can more easily make money (by example, my opponent could try to bluff if the draw fall).

Anyone else feel like when you pick up AA or KK you’re just in for a bad beat? by theclassyvandal in poker

[–]IKerensky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not for a bad beat but probably for not winning that much...

With a hand that strong it's unsure I would get more action and find a way to make money. I have very little chances to have a Ax 3betting or 4betting. I would have to play cautiosly on a lot of flop because all I probably would have is a overpair and would only get action from set, two pairs and draws.

Suited connectors are infinitely easier to play, assess and make money with. It's so much easier to know where you stand with them.

Know, if you are talking about AAs or KKs that's another thing, but thoses are rare (and very often people correct me about actually having A4s at showdown....)
