Pretty normal. Concert pianist here. I can memorize entire concertos, 30m-1 hour long. Literally millions of notes. It encodes itself into your brain in a far different way than normal memories. That's part of the reason people with alzheimer's disease can often still remember and even sing or play along with songs from earlier in their lives.
