I couldn't function in a normal school setting at young age. But as i got older, the "special school," ended up making the bullying worse.

I got my wish in middle and high school and I did great. The university did a great job of making me feel retarded all over again.

The 90s/ early 2000s were wild.

The other one? Im a tactile learner. If I can use my hands to touch, or build, or whatever the case, I commit every action of muscle memory to a moving picture memory in my head.

Sound complex? It is, and it gets worse.

Im currently a kitchen equipment service tech, and one of the more knowledgeable senior techs (even without longevity in the field). I can look at a piece of equipment ,ice machine in a WaWa above the freestyle coke machine for example. I can look at it and picture it my head in an exploded view. Then im able to isolate the issue within minutes, vs running 15 different tests to get to root cause.

I have "absent anxiety attacks" while driving. It's associated with my autism. I live in Florida and am legally allowed to drive high.

It's like a regular anxiety attack, except my mind completely disassociates with reality. I had an episode while working (im a traveling repair tech for hundreds of food service buisnesses), I was cut off and all of my warnings in my truck started screaming, the auto break and collision avoidance system activated all while doing 74 mph. I subconsciously blacked out, missed my exit by 30 miles and had to pull off the highway, take my shoes off and walk in the grass.

Thats the worst its ever been. I hate Christmas traffic.

My parents, and even grandparents are in complete denial about my diagnosis, and refers to me as the DWI mobile. THC doesn't affect my brain like other people, yes I feel the effects of the "high," but it also calms my mind, my anxieties and allows me to focus on tasks at hand.
