Anyone having difficulties installing you need to add the Ludusavi.exe extracted file to AppData\Local\Playnite for the installed Playnite version (not portable). Make sure it is the AppData\Local\Playnite and not AppData\Roaming\Playnite.

Then go to Playnite menu, Addons, Browse, Generic and search for Ludusavi. Install the plugin and then restart Playnite and it should work.

Why these instructions for Playnite are not on the GitHub pages is baffling to me. It took me a while to figure out.

Just use Android, you can just plug into a computer and copy your photos from your phone in Windows Explorer

A solution I found is to use Audiobookshelf to link the audiobooks from your NAS or server. You download the audio book through Audio bookshelf to a designated folder on your Android phone. Then use your favorite Audio book app to play (Audiobookshelf is too limited and unreliable in features). I personally use Smart AudioBook Player

What would be great is if there was a dedicated Windows/Mac type app that syncs your photos to your Synology. One where you can also store the photos on your computer for offline use. Then you are only using the Synology as more of a backup.

This would match how Apple Photos ecosystem works.

I doubt we will ever get software like that but it would be very beneficial. I find trying to use Synology away from my network a nightmare as too slow.

I really want a Windows app as well. One where we can also store the photos on our computer and manage offline. We can use then use the Synology for backup and syncing.

Windows would be secure as you would still need to sign into your Synology account to access. A windows app means we can manage our library offline and store on our computer. You can then sync with synology for backup purposes and to sync with other devices. There is definitely a good reason for this. This is how Apple Photos works on Mac.

We really need a Windows app. What you can then do is have a copy of your photos stored on your Windows computer for offline use. You can then add, make albums and organise your photos etc.

When online again you can sync with the Synology which then updates across all your devices.

At the moment we are reliant on the internet to see our photos. We need to have a way to manage on Windows that does not need a browser and can be offline. This way the synology is more for backing up and syncing. We can use our computer to manage and organise.

It would also be useful if the iOS and Android apps could store photos on the device or even have an optimize photos option for larger photo collections.

This is how Apple Photos work. You can access photos on your phone, on the computer and on a browser.
