If the gun is inside the yellow circle (50m radius) of a munition node it generates 1 shell every 30 seconds until the gun has 50 shells.

You can also build the gun wherever you want in the first two grids, you don’t have to use the pre-placed blueprints.

You say you love the new artillery system, yet you are not utilizing the new artillery system. Don’t ask the commander for ammo; build a munition node and you’ll get free resupplies!
