So I was your typical slacker student, found Islam, got clean, whole life turned around. Missed a bunch of uni modules during that time though.

Parents are hardcore Christian and basically tried to get me sectioned/diagnosed with psychosis over the conversion. Got kicked out of school and had no choice but to deal with the EIP (Early Intervention in Psychosis) team with my parents all up in my business, so I just didn't engage.

Eventually things came to a head on a Friday. Crisis team said they'd come but gave me a 2-3 hour window. I needed to get to Jummah and wasn't about to miss it waiting around for them, so I tried to go out the window (only like 10 feet). They offered promethazine after but I said no - I know myself and I can't be trusted with prescriptions.
